I both read at events nationally and organise my own Spoken Word nights in Burton-on-Trent.
The Burton Event, Spoken Worlds, attracts readers from Worcester to Buxton, to Leicester, Nottingham and Birmingham.
One of my first writing achievements was in the NAWG competition for Best Collection of 5 Poems.
I won this award in 2005 and was highly commended in 2009.
I have achieved Highly Commended status in several national and international competitions.
